IMMUNE ONEtm is a pelleted equine supplement containing LARCH ARABINOGALACTAN (AG), a naturally occurring polysaccharide extracted from the Western Larch tree. Due to its broad molecular weight (MW), AG is a strong immune stimulant (modulator) and simultaneously an anti-inflammatory. (Please visit our faq page.)

The AG used in SOURCE ONE supplements contains 2.8% polyphenols including water soluble QUERCETIN. QUERCETIN inhibits the release of histamines and leukotrienes into the bloodstream assisting in the prevention and treatment of allergies and inflammation. AG is 85% soluble fiber with low flatulation potential and has been shown to improve and maintain regularity and overall colon health. LARCH AG has been proven to stimulate the body's increased production of macrophages and natural killer (NK) cells.

Numerous university studies have been conducted on the use of AG for humans and animals. University of Montana holds U. S. Patent #5,614,501 on LARCH AG and includes the use of the composition to:

  • ENHANCE THE GROWTH RATE IN YOUNG ANIMALS.
  • REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF DISEASE BY DECREASING THE NUMBERS OF INFECTIOUS PATHOGENS.
  • INCREASE THE NUMBERS OF BENEFICIAL ANAEROBES SUCH AS L. ACIDOPHILUS AND BIFIDOBACTERIA.
  • REDUCE OR ELIMINATE THE INCIDENCE OF SCOURS (DIARRHEA).

    The equine supplements IMMUNE ONEtm and SENIOR MOBILITYtm were developed with veterinarians over a two year period of time. During this time the efficacy of the AG was determined, a dose established and a delivery system developed. These two SOURCE ONE NATURALStm equine pelleted supplements contain AG in a natural feed base. This base contains:

  • A preponderance of BARLEY MALT SPROUTS, tiny barley grasses unexposed to the sun. These sprouts have been shown to enhance the body's production of anti-oxidant enzymes especially super-oxide dismutase (SOD). These enzyme-enhancing sprouts are used by individuals and veterinarians for such conditions as arthritis and degenerative disease.
  • BREWERS' DRIED GRAINS (BDG) which are rich sources of EFA's (essential fatty acids), B Complex vitamins high in Inosital and Choline (fat emulsifiers) and Biotin for healthy hooves. BDG have balanced organic proteins, which are easily assimilated by the body without stress on the liver or kidney's.
  • WHOLE FLAX SEED, rich in Omega 3 EFA's (essential fatty acids), magnesium, potassium and mucilaginous fiber for regularity and colon health, a rich coat and supple skin.
  • DIGESTIVE ENZYMES dried A. oryzae and B. subtillus. A. oryzae is used in Germany to treat rheumatoid arthritis.
